The NBA is set to make history during the 2023-2024 season with the launch of its inaugural in-season tournament. This groundbreaking addition to the league’s schedule aims to bring excitement and heightened competition to the regular season.

The NBA in-season tournament comprises two stages: group play and knockout rounds. Every Tuesday and Friday during November, teams will participate in group play matches. The champions will receive a substantial $500,000 each, while the runners-up will take home $200,000 per player. Additionally, the league will recognize outstanding individual performances with the In-Season Tournament MVP award and the All-Tournament Team.
