The 2024 LIV Golf schedule is yet to be confirmed, but it is already creating buzz within the golf community. With some major changes in the lineup and intriguing coincidences with PGA Tour events, golf enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the official announcement.

Emerging Locations and Suspicious Timing:
As the Saudi-backed league enters its third season, the 2024 schedule promises a fresh experience with brand new venues and enticing competitions. However, it’s worth noting that only three locations have been confirmed so far – Mayakoba in Mexico, The Greenbrier in West Virginia, and Valderrama in Spain. The remaining 11 venues are still shrouded in mystery, waiting to be revealed.

International Flavor:
In a bid to expand its global reach, LIV Golf plans to host eight of its 14 events outside the United States. Countries like Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Australia, Spain, England, Singapore, and South Korea will witness the excitement of LIV Golf. Simultaneously, the league also plans to hold events in prominent American cities, including Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Oklahoma City.

Competition with the PGA Tour:
LIV Golf has set its sights on capturing attention by strategically scheduling its tournaments alongside some of the PGA Tour’s new Signature events. This move undoubtedly adds an extra layer of competitiveness and intrigue to the golfing landscape. Notable coincidences include the Mayakoba tournament clashing with the renowned Pebble Beach event and the Las Vegas tournament overlapping with the popular WM Phoenix Open.

Missing Donald Trump Courses:
In an interesting twist, the preliminary schedule for 2024 seems to exclude any of the courses associated with former President Donald Trump. While not officially confirmed, this deviation from previous years raises questions about the league’s future affiliation with Trump’s properties. In recent years, Trump courses hosted LIV Golf tournaments, including the upcoming Team Championship at Trump National Doral outside Miami in October. However, the absence of these courses from next year’s schedule remains to be seen.
